More than 60 commercial & industrial laundry professionals joined Isitclean’s Industrial Laundry Fundamentals Masterclass in San Fernando, Pampanga on February 6, which featured a series of lectures by Engr. Romeo Apolega, SSChE, FChE and a facility tour of NSI Laundry.
Dr. Richard Daenos, director of the Department of Tourism Central Luzon, opened the session with a lecture on the tourism and hospitality investments in Pampanga. Hotels have become an important market for laundry services as the hospitality industry reduces its in-house laundry as part of cost-optimization and asset-light strategies.
Engr. Apolega delivered his presentation on the science of laundry, highlighting issues such as stains, equipment, and relationship management with institutional clients such as hotels.
