Is It Clean, the country’s leading event organizer and industrial laundry trainer for the professional laundry and textile care industry, is set to host the Philippines’ first-ever Healthcare Laundry Training Program on August 20, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the AIM Conference Center in Makati City.

Proper handling, washing, and sanitization of healthcare linens directly contribute to patient safety, preventing the spread of healthcare-associated infections and ensuring smooth clinical operations.
Called The Healthcare Laundry Workshop, the seminar features two of the industry’s most respected experts. Rackie Estaniel, a senior laundry manager and operator with extensive experience managing healthcare laundry facilities in both the Philippines and Qatar, will share practical insights from his tenure at world-class institutions such as Sidra Medicine in Qatar and St. Luke’s Medical Center. Joining her is Engr. Romeo Apolega, SSChE, FChE, a multi-awarded chemical engineer and one of the Philippines’ foremost authorities in laundry science. With over 52 years of experience in industrial laundry, cleaning, and sanitation, Engr. Apolega brings a wealth of technical expertise to the event.
The Healthcare Laundry Workshop aims to equip hospital administrators, laundry operators, and healthcare professionals with vital knowledge and best practices to elevate healthcare laundry standards in the Philippines.
