On July 16-17, 2026, 14 dedicated laundry operators successfully graduated from the 3rd cohort of the Industrial Laundry Bootcamp, earning the distinguished title of “Certified Industrial Laundry Manager” from Is It Clean.
The intensive two-day face-to-face program, held at the Regus Dona Elena Tower in Sta. Mesa, Manila, gathered professionals from across the country, including Bohol, Cebu, Iloilo, Bataan, Baguio, and Manila. The bootcamp tackled real-world operational challenges such as workflow design, cost control, facility planning, and hospital laundry standards, culminating in capstone presentations by the attendees.
The cohort was guided by a distinguished panel of industry mentors and lecturers, anchored by Engr. Romeo Apolega, SSChE, FChE, Emeritus, a senior expert in laundry science and the founder of the bootcamp. He was joined by Rackie Estaniel, a leading international expert in hospital laundry and infection control, and Joey Ermita, CEO and President of ELS Phils. Inc.
Rounding out the expert faculty were Rogelio Tapang, founder of Laundrypreneur and President of the United Philippine Laundry Association, and David Kidney, Regional Manager for Asia Pacific at Lapauw International. The roster also featured insights from May Panganiban and Rommel Panganiban, co-founders of MRP Textile Care Co.
The Industrial Laundry Bootcamp remains the Philippines’ most advanced training program for professionals operating at an industrial scale, continuing Is It Clean’s mission to professionalize the industry and develop its future leaders.
The next Industrial Laundry Bootcamp is scheduled in February 2027. To register, email events@isitcleanph.com.
