The Philippines’ most advanced industrial laundry workshop is back on January 21-22, 2027 in Manila. Now on its fourth cohort, the Industrial Laundry Bootcamp by Is It Clean and MRP Textile Care Co brings together 20 industrial laundry managers and aspiring laundry owners every 6 months for an intensive 2-day training on operations, planning, and laundry management.
Since 2025, the Industrial Laundry Bootcamp has seen more than 50 professionals complete Is It Clean’s “Certification in Industrial Laundry Management“, a program developed by Engr Romeo Apolega, SSChE, FPIChE.
Students learn from real industry cases discussed during class. The lecturers act as mentors, helping students develop their laundry projects and expound their case studies. The combination of lecture, mentorship, and group work during the 2-day class is a unique approach never before seen in laundry education in the Philippines.
Previous speakers of the Bootcamp include Rogelio Tapang (Laundrypreneur), Joey Ermita (ELS Phils Inc), Babie Gupit (renowned hotel laundry manager), Rackie Estaniel (healthcare laundry specialist), May Panganiban (MRP Textile Care Co), Rommel Panganiban (MRP Textile Care Co), and David Kidney (Lapauw).
The January 2027 program will include an industrial laundry facility tour, helping solidify lessons learned from the planning and operation sessions.
